Zones of the Ocean
Ocean Light Zones
There are 3 different types of light zones: Euphotic, Dispothic, and Aphotic.
Euphotic: zone in where underwater photosynthesis can work, by having the enough sunlight that is necessary for this process.
Disphotic: In this zone animals are capable of living but plants are unable to grow here.
Aphotic: This zone has no sunlight. The animals livings down there feed from dead plants and other organisms that fall into the ocean.

Life Style Zones
There are 4 types of Marine life groups: Epifauna, Plankton, Infauna and Nekton.
Nekton: These can propel themselves in the water.
Infauna: These are creatures that crawl, and lie inside the sediments of seafloor.
Epifauna: These animals and plants live on top of the sea bottom.
Plankton: Are tiny floating organisms. They are the main and first part of all food chains.

Habitat Zones
The Habitat zone is formed by 5 mini zones: Abbysal, Bathyal, Hadal, Neritic, and Oceanic .
Abbysal: One third of the Earth is made up of the Abbysal zone. It is very cold and dark in this zone.
Bathyal: In this zone the food and temperature easily fall into the deepest zones of the ocean.
Hadal: This is the deepest zone in the ocean. We have little knowledge of this zone, but we do know that it has a high-pressure conditions and it's really cold.
Neritic: This zone is rich in plants, animals and nutrients that are carried from currents of land.
Oceanic: In this zone, there is an abundant life of plankton
